What OSCAR accreditation means

More than just a badge.

Kidz.com is an accredited OSCAR provider, which means we are independently assessed against the Social Sector Accreditation Standards.

The standards cover areas including staffing levels, worker screening and police vetting, health and safety, emergency planning, attendance records, sign-in and sign-out procedures, and safe collection from school. An assessor reviews our documents and visits the service before accreditation is confirmed.

OSCAR subsidy

Childcare may cost less than you expect.

Kidz.com is an accredited OSCAR programme. Eligible families may receive up to $6.72 per hour, per child, toward before-school, after-school and holiday-programme costs.

Common questions

Quick answers.

What food should my child bring?

We provide afternoon tea during the after-school programme. On school-holiday days we provide morning tea and afternoon tea; please send your child with a packed lunch and a named drink bottle.

What else should my child bring?

Please bring suitable clothing and sun protection. We will let you know if anything extra is needed for a particular holiday activity or trip.

What happens if my child will be absent?

If your child is booked and won’t be coming, please tell us before school finishes because our team will otherwise be expecting to collect them.

Can somebody else collect my child?

Only authorised collectors can collect a child. Please contact us before collection arrangements change.

How do you use photographs?

We follow the photograph permissions recorded for each child. We will not knowingly use an identifiable photograph outside those permissions.

What if I have a concern?

Please talk with us. We will listen, clarify what has happened and explain what we can do next. If we need time to look into something properly, we will tell you when you can expect to hear back.
